This is the “ClubNorway Beijing”s welcome event after a long and hot summer, where newly arrived get an opportunity to meet those who have been here for a while as well as for old-timers to meet old friends.
Everything in a cozy setting outdoor under the open sky, with food mainly from the grill and as close as one can be on Norwegian soil here in China.
Due to the limited space in the garden, the registration unfortunately will be closed when we reach the maximum number of participants. So, the sooner you register, the better chance you have to participate in this event.
In addition to our garden party, which starts at 18:00, ClubNorway in cooperation with NBA, NorAlumni China and ANSA have arranged a small seminar prior to the garden party. This party starts at 16:00 and takes place inside the Embassy at the Embassy’s meeting room, also known as the “Svalbard-room” for those who are familiar.
The seminar aims, all in an informal setting, to give the participants an introduction to “who, what, where and how” in China. A number of speakers from the Embassy, Innovation Norway, private business, the student organisations as well as some “old China hands” will present themselves and their activities and share some personal experience from their time in China.
The seminar primarily focus on newly arrived Norwegians but may be interesting also for those with some experience from China but want to have an update on the latest news.
